Check out my Etsy Shop!
Feeling summery again ... so I made some new earrings.
You can find the pattern below for crocheting the round earrings with a turquoise bead or you can buy them in my Etsy shop here.
These earrings are very easy to make as long as you are used to using the smaller crochet hooks and counting very small stitches. You may want to try it with hooks and yarn of larger size first, without the bead, just to get used to what you need to do.
For this pattern, you need:
turquoise bead
embroidery needle (for slipping the bead onto the yarn)
brown/copper and teal/blue cotton thread or sport weight yarn (I like using Mila Mia Naturally Soft Cotton in Seaweed)
2.5mm crochet hook
silver earring hook wire (I found them in Hobbycraft or on Amazon)
Step 1. Pull the brown yarn through the centre of the bead and make 2 knots to secure it.
Step 2. Make a magic circle with 12 SCs.
Step 3. Switch to the teal colour yarn and make 2 SCs in every SC of the previous round.
Step 4. Cut the yarn, secure it and hide it.
Step 5. Attach the earring hook wire through any top SC.
